Empowering
through Education
Namhai Education Consultancy aims to empower communities through education. While education is essential for all, we believe it must also include socio-political, cultural and legal awareness and understanding. Our projects thus promote holistic education that empowers people.
The Study Abroad project is one of our primary focus areas through which we offer a range of services to students aspiring to study in foreign universities. These include mapping of higher education institutions and programmes, and guidance with the application process which involves navigating various entry requirements, like English language tests and statements of purpose. We also mentor students on how to prepare for scholarship and visa interviews.
We also undertake research and documentation projects that seek to foreground grassroots Adivasi voices and perspectives.
We will guide you with your applications to pursue higher education abroad. We will support you with applying for scholarship and funding opportunities. Our Advisory Board members, who have years of experience in making successful applications, will mentor you through the entire process.
Our projects include working with Adivasi, as well as Dalit and Bahujan communities in India on education-related topics. We are also open to working with Dalit and Bahujan communities. We undertake projects with the aim of advancing knowledge and consciousness not just in the communities that we work with, but also of the researching communities at large. Our projects are currently based in the peninsular parts of India.
